The Trump administration on Thursday introduced new guidelines on addiction treatment that give doctors more flexibility in prescribing drugs to patients struggling with opioid addiction. Under the new guidelines, physicians licensed to the Drug Enforcement Administration will continue to be limited to treating more than 30 patients with buprenorphine to treat addiction problems at any one time, but will be able to treat medications to treat opioid use disorders. From 1 February 2020, changes to the BadgerCare Plus programme will be available to those who are not pregnant or have children under 19 years of age who need care at home. The Department of Health and Human Services eliminates the need for doctors to obtain special federal exemptions before prescribing drugs to treat addiction, such as drugs - to treat - opioids - to use - disorders.

The staff at Duluth Community Health Center is a volunteer organization made up of doctors, nurses, pharmacists, social workers and other staff. The building was once the home of Julius G. and Gertrude A. Bergran, who owned the Haight-Ashbury Free Clinic, a free clinic in the heart of downtown Dulles. At the time, the health center was part of a national network of clinics within the National Free Clinics Council, which grew out of the Haight Ashburn Free Clinic, which opened in 1967. Furniture, equipment and relief supplies were donated and brought from the camp at the beginning of the clinic.

The basement was leased to the Duluth Outreach Group for abused women and the clinical operations were moved to a new location at 3600 Tower Avenue. The site at Lake 5 has been rebuilt to add an emergency room, a surgical center, an outpatient clinic and a pharmacy. The Help rented and rented a second, larger building at the corner of See- / Turmallee and completed a renovation of the building in its current size and design.
